Back in January, Missouri Prairie Foundation Executive Director Carol Davit reached out to me to conduct an interview for the Missouri Invasive Plant Council newsletter and website, Moinvasives.org. The interview is now featured on the Missourians Making a Difference tab of the group’s website. Borrowing directly from the MOIP website: “The purpose of the council — working as a united, supportive front—is to review, discuss, and recommend educational and regulatory action related to managing known and potential non-native invasive plants. Representatives from the fields of conservation, agriculture, botanical science, ecological services, plant production, horticulture, landscape services and design, and arboriculture make up the council.”

It is exciting for Missouri Conservation Corps to be noticed and promoted by such a dedicated and conservation-minded group, and we look forward to collaborating with MOIP and MPF in the near future!
