Missouri Conservation Corps will once again be involved in the annual ComoGives fundraiser for local and area nonprofits. This year our fundraising efforts will focus on our dedication to environmental education for Columbia’s youth, families, and community members. Please consider a donation to our campaign during the month of December…our page can be found here…https://mtyc.co/fbt5ag, or by searching for Missouri Conservation Corps on the ComoGives website.
Since April of 2021 Missouri Conservation Corps has been active in our community, engaging volunteers in activities related to habitat restoration, invasive species removal, environmental education, and community engagement. Our work is carried out in Columbia’s parks, trails and green spaces.

Our organization is now four years old, and we have broadened our scope of habitat work and our community engagement to include the development of an urban tree planting program for Columbia, the continuation of a series of environmental educational segments for a cost-subsidized summer camp in Columbia, and the expansion of our invasive species removal in Columbia.

Community outreach has become very important to our organization, and our path ahead will involve a greater effort at community outreach and engagement. This will help our organization develop a stronger volunteer base, and it will also help us find friends and allies in communities and neighborhoods where habitat restoration and tree planting has been lagging.

A donation to Missouri Conservation Corps during ComoGives 2025 will help our organization maintain our environmental education program for Columbia’s Camp I Love Me summer camp. It will also help us retain the wonderful family-friendly programming offered by our MCC Naturalist, Laura Semken.

CoMoGives begins on Monday, December 1st and donations are accepted until December 31st. Please consider a donation to help our organization grow and thrive! Thank you!!
