SUMMARY:Neighborhood Litter Pickup with Hogan House Pantry
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are needed to help out in the neighborhood around Hogan House Pantry on Saturday\, April 4th.  We will meet at 9 a.m. in front of Hogan House Pantry\, 313 Hogan Drive\, in northeast Columbia.  We will be helping the staff and volunteers from Hogan House as we pick up litter and debris in the neighborhood.  Trash bags and gloves will be provided.  Volunteers are asked to bring a water bottle and to dress for the weather.  In case of heavy rain\, this event will be postponed and a rain date will be shared on our calendar.  For more information\, contact Missouri Conservation Corps Project Director Stephen Bybee at stephen@missouriconservationcorps.org \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Missouri Conservation Corps is teaming up with Columbia Parks & Recreation and Boone County Stormwater Management to plant 12 new trees at Grindstone Nature Area on Thursday\, April 30th\, from 10 am – 12 pm. This tree planting is part of a collaborative effort to improve water quality and riparian buffers in Columbia’s local watersheds\, and to add additional trees to community spaces. \nAll tools and training will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoor work and to bring a reusable water bottle.
