SUMMARY:Volunteer Honeysuckle Removal Work Day in Garth Nature Area
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, May 15th @ 10AM-Noon \nMissouri Conservation Corps is organizing a volunteer honeysuckle cutting event on Thursday\, May 15th\, from 10 am-Noon in Columbia’s Garth Nature Area\, 2799 North Garth Avenue.  Volunteers will be cutting\, hacking and pulling invasive honeysuckle in this 52-acre park in north Columbia. \nVolunteers can meet in the parking area at 2799 North Garth\, and we will walk to our work site in the park.  Just like all our events\, Missouri Conservation Corps will provide the tools\, training and gloves for this event.  Volunteers will need to wear sturdy footwear\, dress for the weather\, and bring a water bottle. \nTo register for this event\, or to learn more about our events in Columbia’s parks and green spaces\, contact Missouri Conservation Corps Project Director Stephen Bybee at stephen@missouriconservationcorps.org.
