    Stephens Lake Arboretum, Columbia’s Level II Arboretum, will be hosting a winter speaker’s series dedicated to discussions of native plants, planting for pollinators, and edible urban landscapes. Speakers will include Dr. Nadia Navarrete-Tindall, Ryan Russell, Matthew Dolan and Dr. Mark Coggeshall. This event on February 12th will be the first lecture in the series.

    Missouri Conservation Corps is organizing its second honeysuckle cutting event of 2025 on Saturday, March 22nd in Columbia’s Garth Nature Area, 2799 North Garth.  Volunteers will be cutting, hacking and pulling invasive honeysuckle in this 52-acre park in north Columbia.
