Community Tree Planting Event at Hogan House Pantry

About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps is organizing a community tree planting event at Hogan House Pantry, a food pantry and community resource hub just outside the Columbia city limits in Boone County.  This event takes place on Thursday, November 6th, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.  Volunteers will be needed to plant and mulch trees, prepare cages, and install posts on the new trees.  Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at 3:00 p.m. to help us prepare.  Community resource organizations are encouraged to come and table at the event.  This event will help us bring trees to a part of our community that needs trees, and will help us bring resources and support as needed to this neighborhood.  For more information, or to volunteer, contact Project Director Stephen Bybee at [email protected]
