Community Tree Planting in Central Columbia
About the Event
Missouri Conservation Corps is excited to once again partner with the neighbors of Ridgeway Neighborhood Association, Centro Latino, the City of Columbia Office of Sustainability, Volunteer Columbia, and the City of Columbia, Mo. Government to plant trees in central Columbia.
The trees are being provided to Ridgeway neighbors by a Love Your Block grant from the City of Columbia, and Wednesday, May 21st is the planting date! Bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a pair of gloves to help us plant trees at the southwest corner of Garth and Sexton…for more information on this volunteer tree planting event, see the flyer at the bottom of this post.
