First Volunteer Work Day of 2024!!!
About the Event
Missouri Conservation Corps is hosting its first volunteer work day of the season on Sunday, March 24th from 2-4 p.m. at Columbia’s Kiwanis Park. Volunteers are asked to meet on the west side of the park, near the Odor Shelter at 2 p.m. We will be hacking and pulling invasive honeysuckle, and beginning to work on an erosion control project in the park. Missouri Conservation Corps will supply the tools and the training for this event, and volunteers will need to bring work gloves, a water bottle, and appropriate footwear for working in the outdoors.
