Guided Bird Hike–Kiwanis Park

About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps is once again teaming up with the talented members of the Columbia Audubon Society to host a guided bird hike on Wednesday, May 8th, in Columbia’s Kiwanis Park.  We will meet at Thurston Shelter on the east side of the park at 7 a.m. on May 8th to meet CAS member and hike guide John Besser.  We will be looking for birds in the recently improved habitat of 20 acre Kiwanis Park…the hike duration is expected to be two hours.  BYO binoculars.  For more information, contact Missouri Conservation Corps or Columbia Audubon Society.  This is our second annual bird hike in Kiwanis Park, and we hope to document even more birds than last year’s hike!
