About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps will be joining CoMo Preservation and the Genealogical Society of Boone County and Central Missouri for a joint work event in Alspaugh Park on Saturday, May 2nd, from 8 – 10 am. As we work to remove invasive species, CoMo Preservation and the Genealogical Society will be cleaning up two historic cemeteries in the park. This is a unique opportunity to restore the native habitat and learn about the history in Alspaugh Park.
Parking is available in the gravel lot off of Mexico Gravel Rd, at the bottom of the hill. If navigating by maps, use address 4100 Mexico Gravel Rd. Tools and training will be provided, and a port-a-potty will be available for use. Volunteers are encouraged to wear outdoor and weather appropriate footwear and clothing, and to bring a reusable water bottle. To sign-up for this event, use the registration button below, and for more information and questions, use our contact form.
