Kiwanis Park Volunteer Work Day

About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps is hosting a volunteer work day and native planting in Kiwanis Park on Tuesday, April 30th, from 5-7 p.m.  We will meet on the west side of the park at the Odor Shelter, 926 College Park Drive, at 5 p.m.  We will be hacking and pulling invasive honeysuckle, and we will be planting native dogwoods and oaks.  Missouri Conservation Corps will provide tools, gloves, training, bug spray and a water jug.  Volunteers will need to bring sturdy shoes and a water bottle.  Our seedling trees are provided by the Missouri Department of Conservation.  For more information or to sign up for this event, please contact Project Director Stephen Bybee by emailing [email protected].
