Missouri River Relief and Missouri Conservation Corps on the MKT Trail!
About the Event
Missouri Conservation Corps will be teaming up with Missouri River Relief on Sunday, November 10th to cut and remove invasive honeysuckle on Columbia’s MKT Trail.
Volunteers can meet at 10 a.m. at the MLK Jr. Memorial on the MKT Trail, 800 West Stadium Boulevard. We will be cutting, treating and removing invasive honeysuckle on the MKT trail. Volunteers will help us beautify this portion of Columbia’s MKT trail, which restoring native habitat to central Columbia!
Missouri River Relief and Missouri Conservation Corps will supply hot cocoa and snacks to our volunteers. Volunteers will need to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Missouri Conservation Corps will supply the tools, gloves and training.
