About the Event

Be a part of the Monarch Journey!

Join Missouri Conservation Corps Naturalist Laura Semken on Saturday, September 26th from 9 am – 12 pm at the Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge Headquarters (18500 Brady Lane Boonville, MO) for a drop-in monarch tagging program. Hike, tag Monarch butterflies, and play a migration game during this family-friendly event. Come for the whole morning or just for a little while, no registration necessary.

Insect nets will be provided. Boots and long pants are recommended, as catching butterflies could involve going off trail.
