Replant & Restore Tree Planting on N 8th Street

About the Event

Help plant 12 new trees in the backyards of 305 – 311 N 8th Street on Sunday, May 17th at 9 am! This Love Your Block project seeks to bring trees back to this neighborhood and help restore the community benefits trees provide. Volunteers will be digging holes, planting 3- to 5-gallon trees and shrubs, and helping mulch and wrap the new plants. Parking will be available at the Armory Sports Center parking lot and along adjacent streets, and food will be provided at noon.
