Tree Planting at Grindstone Nature Area

About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps is teaming up with Columbia Parks & Recreation and Boone County Stormwater Management to plant 12 new trees at Grindstone Nature Area on Thursday, April 30th, from 10 am – 12 pm. This tree planting is part of a collaborative effort to improve water quality and riparian buffers in Columbia’s local watersheds, and to add additional trees to community spaces.

All tools and training will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoor work and to bring a reusable water bottle. Let us know you’re coming by registering below, and for more information and questions, contact us through our contact form.
