Volunteer Honeysuckle Cutting Event at Garth Nature Area

About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps is organizing a volunteer honeysuckle cutting event on Thursday, April 3rd, from 4-6 p.m. in Columbia’s Garth Nature Area, 2799 North Garth.  Volunteers will be cutting, hacking and pulling invasive honeysuckle in this 52-acre park in north Columbia.

Volunteers can meet in the parking area of Garth Nature Area, and we will walk to our work site in the park.  Just like all our events, Missouri Conservation Corps will provide the tools, training and gloves for this event.  Volunteers will need to wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.
