About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps is organizing a volunteer honeysuckle cutting event on Thursday, March 19th, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. in Columbia’s Garth Nature Area, 2799 North Garth Ave. Volunteers will be cutting, hacking and pulling invasive honeysuckle in this 52-acre park in central Columbia.

Volunteers can meet in the parking area, and we will walk to our work site in the park. Just like all our events, Missouri Conservation Corps will provide the tools, training, and gloves for this event. Volunteers will need to wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.
