Volunteer Honeysuckle Work Event in Kiwanis Park (West)

About the Event

Missouri Conservation Corps is organizing a volunteer honeysuckle cutting event on Tuesday, June 24th, from 10 a.m. to noon on the west side of Columbia’s Kiwanis Park, 926 College Park Drive.  Volunteers will be cutting, hacking and pulling invasive honeysuckle in this 20-acre park in central Columbia.

Volunteers can meet in the parking area at Odor Shelter, on the west side of Kiwanis Park, and we will walk to our work site in the park.  Just like all our events, Missouri Conservation Corps will provide the tools, training and gloves for this event.  Volunteers will need to wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.
