Volunteer Tree Planting at Gans Creek Recreation Area

Missouri Conservation Corps, Columbia’s Parks and Recreation, and Columbia Volunteer Services are organizing a tree planting in Columbia’s Gans Creek Recreation Area, 3350 E Gans Rd, on Saturday, September 6th, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. We will be planting 15-gallon container trees along the new mountain bike course. Shovels, gloves, and water will be provided for volunteers. Volunteers will need to wear sturdy footwear and bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers are asked to RSVP.
