Even in the middle of a sleepy summer, Missouri Conservation Corps is gearing up for a busy and exciting fall season. Within the coming months, we will be at multiple volunteer fairs, festivals, and fundraisers, and we hope to see you there!
Volunteer Fairs
The start of the school year is fast approaching, and that means fresh, new faces eager to jump into new season. For us, student volunteer fairs are a great way to introduce ourselves as an organization and help connect incoming students to each other and the local community. This fall, we will be present at two volunteer fairs:
Wednesday, September 3rd: MU Volunteer Fair
MCC will be tabling at the University of Missouri’s Volunteer Fair on September 3rd, 2025, as part of MU’s Involvement Week. The Volunteer Fair will be held at Lowry Mall from 10:30 am to 2 pm.
Tuesday, September 9th: Columbia College Hey Day
MCC will be tabling at Columbia College’s Hey Day volunteer fair on September 9th, 2025. This event will take place at the Southwell Complex from 11 am to 12:30 pm.
Fundraisers

Thursday, September 18: Al-Pint Night
The Alpine Shop has been hosting Al-Pint Nights to support local non-profits since 2014, and we are happy to announce that we will be pouring beers at Alpine Shop at 1102 E Broadway on Thursday, September 18th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. For those 21 and over, $10 will get you a limited edition Alpine Shop pint glass and two beers from Logboat Brewery. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available, as well as some fun giveaway prizes and a raffle drawing. All proceeds will go toward Missouri Conservation Corps, so come out and raise a glass to supporting local!
Saturday, October 4th: County House Branch Fundraiser Rummage Sale
The County House Branch Neighborhood Association will be hosting their 7th annual Fundraiser Rummage Sale on Saturday, October 4th, from 8 am to 1 pm, at 2 Spring Valley Road. Every year, two local non-profits are chosen to split half of the profits, and this year, Missouri Conservation Corps and First Chance for Children are the benefiting organizations. This sale is a wonderful way for the neighborhood to declutter their homes while supporting their association and the community.
Cloverstock
Clovers Natural Market will be throwing their 60th anniversary celebration on Sunday, October 12th: Cloverstock! From 11 am to 4 pm, the Clovers Forum location at 2100 Chapel Plaza Court will have a beer garden, live music, food trucks, vendors, artists, and local non-profit organizations gathered to revel with the Columbia community—including us! Come visit us at this family-friendly event to learn more about our upcoming volunteer work days and how you can help us remove invasive honeysuckle and plant more trees around Columbia.
