CoMoGives is Live!
Missouri Conservation Corps is participating in CoMoGives for the second time since our founding in 2021! CoMoGives will help us raise funds to support our mission of habitat restoration, environmental education, and community engagement in central Missouri. The CoMoGives Campaign is powered by the Community Foundation of Central Missouri, and visitors to the website can make a tax-deductible donation to their favorite charities and nonprofits until midnight on December 31st, 2025.

What You're Supporting
|
|
Since 2021, MCC has been dedicated to removing invasive honeysuckle from Columbia's parks and green spaces. Our mission in the last four years has grown and evolved, and we are now moving towards new goals in urban tree planting, environmental education, and community engagement.
|
|
|
|
|
In 2026, MCC will be reaching out to neighborhoods in central and north-central Columbia to engage homeowners and community partners in an urban tree-planting campaign. We aim to bring trees and shade to areas in need by working alongside the community to plant, water, and care for the new trees, while teaching the importance of a healthy canopy.
|
|
|
|
Education is a crucial component of MCC's mission, and we've begun to fulfill it by providing environmental education to a subsidized summer camp in Columbia, teaching young campers lessons in water quality, native plants and birds, wild edibles, the importance of trees, invasive species, and insect discovery.
|
|
A donation to MCC during CoMoGives will help our organization continue to bring these lessons to our friends in the summer camp, and it will help us teach the importance of sustainability to our volunteers and community members.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We have a lot to look forward to in the coming year, but we need YOUR help to be successful. Giving through CoMoGives allows us to continue our legacy work removing honeysuckle, provide our volunteers with tools and perks, expand our education and tree-planting programs, and so much more!
