Missouri Conservation Corps has been working to remove invasive honeysuckle from Columbia’s Kiwanis Park since 2021, and we have recently been helped by traveling teams of AmeriCorps NCCC volunteers. Stationed in Columbia for 10-12 week rotations, these hard-working teams give their service to various Columbia nonprofits, including CCUA, The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, Habitat for Humanity, and COMO Trails Association. We are always excited to meet and work with the new teams when they come to Columbia! Their hard work and enthusiasm is legendary, and we look forward to volunteering with them again!
