Hello and welcome to the Missouri Conservation Corps monthly email newsletter. Missouri Conservation Corps publishes this newsletter each month to keep our volunteers, friends and partners informed about our upcoming volunteer opportunities in the community. We also use the newsletter to promote events from partner organizations, to share news about our organization, and to make readers aware of community events pertaining to environmental stewardship, tree-planting, environmental education, native plants, and community engagement in central Missouri.
If you visited our booth during Birds, Bees and Blooms in Arrow Rock, if you came by to see us during the Outdoor Event Expo at Walt’s Bike Shop, if you rubbed elbows with us at Columbia Earth Day…you might have noticed a sign-up sheet. If you added your name and your email address to that sheet, you can consider yourself a new subscriber. If you put your name on the sign-up sheet several months ago and have been wondering why you never received our email newsletter in your inbox…well, now your question has been answered. These things take time, and the time to add 157 new subscribers is apparently right now.
If you decide that the Missouri Conservation Corps email newsletter is not exactly your cup of tea, that is not a problem. Just let us know, in friendly fashion, and we will remove your email address from our newsletter list. But if you are interested in receiving our newsletter each month, do nothing at all. We will write the pieces, craft them into engaging newsletter-styled content, add a few original photos, and then send them your way each month. If you would like to catch up with past episodes of our email newsletter, you can now do that as well. Our website at missouriconservationcorps.org will now feature a page archiving past issues of the MCC newsletter.
